May 07, Angie rated it it was amazing Shelves: Overall, taking into account the subject matter of the book, I enjoyed and appreciated it. A short read that I was able to finish in one sitting. A well written and moving novel. Plus, receive recommendations for your next Book Club read. She turned a blind eye to Meredith’s horrors for years and she should be in jail just as much as her husband. It’s an emotional book that is beautifully, powerfully written and unique, and it’ll stay with you long past the last word.
