Padmini was a kick ass woman and I’d definitely ask for her autograph if she happens to be real. Maybe these things come out better in stage performances through the actors instead plain reading. However, in a course of time, Padmini gets attracted towards the Kapila because of his strong body and Devadatta becomes aware of it.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. His plays have been translated into several Indian languages and directed by eminent directors like Hayavavana Alkazi, B. Hayavadaha did not delve into as much depth of the subject individuality, personal identity as I expected it to be. One day she, along with her child, goes to the forest to meet Kapila who does not like her coming and asks her to go back.

I feel Karnad deserves praise for the way he employed this technique.
