I truly do love the notes Foley puts in the back of her book, lending credibility to her stories by discussing the historical research she’s put into the series. Contradictions came in early and stayed til the end.

Item s unavailable for purchase. It started out well enough and was nice and exciting, with the heroine being hunted through the dark London streets by Cossacks on horse-back yes, I know, Cossacksbut it kind of went down hill from there for me.

Also, Becky spent her first years at sea, so this was full circle, and provided a great backdrop for them to fall in love. The Knight servants were used to Alec’s “shenanigans”, so they weren’t horrified. Becky understands Alec’s dreams and sees how what others have done that helped make him the man others see and the real man. I would have given 5 stars, but the prelude to the ending was a wee bit much. A loving family who tried their off to save him from using his looks and money to his own detriment.

Again my friends, folej series is worth the time. Becky kept her fley traits, even when turning over her problems to Alec. The sweetness of her violet eyes gazing at him as he had taken her by storm. Unlike with the past books, Robert, Lucien, and Damien were the only Knight siblings who make an appearance in One Night of Sinand it is very brief. I mean that’s how you use sex scenes in romance! I had always liked Alec in the previous books of the series, but I don’t think Gae,en could have imagined the depth that lurked beneath the surface of this dissolute rake-hell.
There are a lot of surprises and what’s amazing is how his character developed, obviously triggered by Lizzie’s marriage to his peer Devlin. Such a charming hero: Perhaps it would have been better if the author had presented Becky’s story as one block of narrative, because the brief snippets back and forth made it a little jarring and choppy, in my opinion.
